Our favorite reality TV show BBNaija is back and better! Big Brother Naija has again raised the bar with its ninth season, introducing a groundbreaking twist: pairs instead of individual housemates. The show, themed “No Loose Guard,” premiered on July 28, 2024, with 14 pairs vying for the coveted grand prize.
These pairs are called the “Dynamic Duo” What makes it all the more exciting is that they play the game as one. Whatever happens to one half of the pair happens to the other for instance if one of the housemates gets a strike, the other half receives a strike too.
The Dynamic duos are not limited to friends only, we have a husband-and-wife duo, a romantic couple, twins, and siblings. Doesn’t that sound exciting? Yes, we are all looking forward to more twists and turns this season. You know, Biggie always has many tricks up his sleeves.
Now it is the second week and the names of these housemates have not managed to stick yet. We don’t want you confusing one housemate for the other so we will provide their names, ages, duo names, and other details to help you identify the housemates.
Meet BBNaija 9 “No LooseGuard” Dynamic Duos
These housemates are romantic partners who started dating six months ago. They met at a friend’s party and hit it off from there. Chinwe(30) is a Beauty and Skincare business while Zion(26) is a fashion designer and model).

5. Wanni x Handi (Handi and Wanni)
This duo are Twin sisters and best friends, they are both 27 years old and Disc Jockeys(DJs). They are identical twins, good luck trying to tell them apart!
6. Beta (Tjay and Ben)
This duo has been friends for six years, Ben (29) is a Club influencer while Tjay (33) is a Medical Doctor. They met in a comment section on Instagram and have since become great friends.
7. Doublekay (Kassia and Kellyrae)
The DoubleKay Duos have been together for 9 years and have been married for a little over five months. Kassia who is popularly known as KayXtra (30) is an entrepreneur while KellyRae (33) is a professional musician.
8. Streeze (Toby Force and Mayor Frosh)
This duo has been friends since 2o22. MayorFrosh (24) is a Media Director/Content Creator while Tobyforge (27) is a Content Creator and Dance artist.
9. Tami (Dami and Toyosi)
The TAMI pair have been best friends since 2016. They met at a TV event and became fast friends. Toyosi(26) is a Beautician while Damilola (28) is a Nightlife PR Manager.
10. Mbadiwe Twins (Ozee and Ocee)
You must have seen these two on your TV screens as they are both entertainers. Ocee and Ozee(37) are identical twins, Lawyers, entrepreneurs, and entertainers.
11. Aces (Topher and Sooj)
Topher and Sooj have been friends for one year, they met at a job and forged a connection. Sooj(23) is a Communications specialist while Topher (24) is a public relations analyst. They are both Instagram sweethearts.
12. Floruish (DJ Flo and Rhuthee)
This pair have been friends for ten years since their first meeting at a Ghanaian school. DJ Flo (27) as her name indicates is a DJ while Rhuthee is a caterer and an event planner.

13. Radicals (Michky and Fairme David)
The gym bros of the season! This pair met at the gym and became friends. Michky (24) is a Gym instructor while Fairme David (29) Professional Dancer and Content Creator.
14. Ndi Nne (Nne and Chinne)
Ndi Nne Mama! Isokwa! Our readers from the southeastern part of the country must be familiar with this greeting. The Ndi Nne related by blood, Nne is Chinne’s niece and Chinne is Nne’s aunty, you grab? Nne also known as Mary and Chinne are both entrepreneurs. Hmm, coming to Biggie’s house with your aunt… how about that!

The list above contains the names of all the housemates currently in Biggie’s house but if have followed the previous seasons of this show, then you know this may not be all the housemates. As the season progresses, Ebuka may announce fake housemates or additional housemates, so keep yourself glued to your screens every Sunday night.
We know that by now you have already chosen a pair to support, ensure that they remain in the house and keep you entertained by voting for them every Monday – Thursday. As you know, the eviction pattern has changed and the aim of voting for your fave is for them to stay away from the bottom four.
This is because during the BBNaija Sunday night live eviction show, all housemates may be asked to choose a pair they want gone and if your faves have stepped on a few toes, they may find themselves out of the house.
